Kasbah Bab Ourika perches majestically on a hill top at the apex of the Ourika Valley, guarding the gateway to the Atlas Mountains - yet is only an hour from Marrakech airport. With 360 degree panoramic views, this luxurious, innovative Kasbah receives warm sunlight all day, and enjoys spectacular sunsets. From its unique eyrie-like position it has a fabulous birds eye view of the Atlas, of traditional Berber villages and of the lush river valley below.

The Kasbah comprises 15 rooms, each individually decorated in a sophisticated, classic Berber style. Many have their own terrace with magnificent views. There is also a beautiful secluded swimming pool for guests to enjoy.

in:spa has drawn together a dream team of nutritionists, chefs, yoga teachers and personal trainers to ensure maximum benefits, such as weight-loss, improved fitness, stress relief and a heightened sense of wellbeing. Every day at in:spa is inspiring and unique, but to get an idea of how a day may be structured, read on.

This day starts with a delicious, fresh, cleansing juice and yoga as the African sun rises behind the mountains. By breakfast time you will be feeling supple and energised and ready for fresh fruit, home made muesli and freshly squeezed juices. An excellent kick-start for your health and fitness plans. We then head out for a morning of hiking in the Atlas Mountains, experiencing the exhilaration of the climb and the stunning scenery. Some mornings we explore the countryside on bicycles. These activities will invigorate your body and stimulate your metabolism and are tailored to all levels of fitness so everyone can join in at their own pace.

After a light, fresh lunch, the afternoons are varied and, depending on the day and your personal in:spa programme, may include small group yoga instruction, personal fitness training or nutritional consultations. In addition, a regular massage will help to relax, restore and prepare you for the week's activities. There will also be time to soak up the sun by the secluded swimming pool. Or, of course, time to explore the fascinating sights and sounds of Marrakech and its ancient Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, about an hour away away.

The day winds down in the fire-lit drawing room and dinners are a showcase of gourmet cleansing cuisine. Dress is relaxed and informal.
